Bandai 1/60 Scale Mazinger Z (Mazinger Z Infinity Ver.) - # 172 Review

This guy is roughly 16 inches tall! Visually it is an imposing model. Impressive as it is, I was disappointed in a few ways.
First, the kit doesn't come with a pilot. I look and look, and I can't find Kouji Kabuto! Kouji, where are you, Kouji? Where the hell is Kouji Kabuto, Bandai?
Second, The mecha has no inner frame. Well, then again, for the price point, I guess adding the inner frame would bump the price up another 100 bucks or so. But, if Bandai made it like the PG Gundam quality, I wouldn't mind paying more.
Thrid, mobility is minimal. A hairline from being a brick. Ok, it is a brick. Cool looking brick, though.
Fourth, the light is not bright enough. I can hardly see the illumination of the eyes in room light. Maybe if Bandai uses a white lightbulb and cast the yellow connector in clear, I think the lighting of the eyes would be brighter.
Another then that, It is an easy kit to build, and the folding wing is fantastic. I do love building and adding this brick into my collections.
