Bobcat T650 Track loader lifting 4,100 lbs testing Welding of hooks on Modern Homesteading Farm

Join me for a short video and some fun coming from our Modern Homesteading channel on our Southern Illinois farm. About a week ago I did some welding, more specifically welding 2 forged chain hooks on to my Bobcat T650 track loader (aka CTL, MTL,SSL) so that I can lift and move implements around our barn in tighter spaces. So today I will test out the chain hooks that I welded, and of course we'll have some fun doing it! First I'll start with the dual 10 inch C channel galvanized 16 beams that we'll be using for our pond bridge building project, which if you have not seen here is the mini series so far:

But back to today's video... After the first 'easy lift,' I will up the ante quite high by chaining and attempting to lift 4,100 lbs of dead weight, with the chains out at the end of the Bobcat HD 84" bucket, which greatly reduces lift capacity, but will certainly test out my welding of the chain hooks!
