It seems with each passing year developers concoct ways to milk and monetize their games weather it be through, DLC, Lootboxes, or other forms of Microtransations. Most of the time though they are pretty scummy practices. Enter Sega, In the most Recent news Sega has decided to lock the New Game Plus for Yakuza 7 behind paid DLC. For the equivalent of 9 dollars of Yen. It is on sale until may but its still pretty scummy and Sega should be ashamed.
