We fished at a golf course pond in early March until we got kicked off. Chris from New Mexico and our buddy Rene came along for the ride. We ate some lunch at Sal's Pizza on Saint Simon's island which I highly recommend, Sal is a Jersey Guy and he brings the taste of Jersey to South East Georgia. After that the guys went back to the barracks and I went to a retention pond in Darian and caught some fish. I caught some nice Large mouth bass in the water retention pond, most of the fish I caught in the video I was finesse fishing. I used a 5 inch lunker log in watermelon and a Yamamoto Senko Green pumpkin and black with red flake. Those are always my go to colors especially when the water is clear. That golf course we got kicked off of has huge bass, I caught my PB bass out of that pond, I was hoping to get a double digit bass out of there but it just didn't happen for me.
