More grow lights! (peach and cherry buds too)

Hello, gardening friends. Lori Fiechter here on a rainy Saturday afternoon--just hoping we don't get any strong storms this evening, especially as we have large branches strewn all over next to the garden and I don't want them blowing into the muddy field! Stan is down to pruning the last tree (a big Jonathan apple by the garden). We got another large grow light shipped to us yesterday and he got that assembled and hung up next to the other. It's getting a bit crowded in the back of that shed! I was nibbling on cilantro, spinach, and even a basil leaf today. It's exciting to see those plants taking off like mad. Ditto with the tomatoes--we will need to put them in larger pots on Monday. I say "we" but we all know that means Stan, the green-thumb man!

This winter was a mild one so I am excited to see peach buds this year. We have a total of about 6 peach trees (I think...) but several of them are still very young. I'll post again when the blossoms are half open and then full-bloom. The Saturn peach blossoms are as lovely as any ornamental tree. I'm excited to show you.
