Show Don't Tell | Episode 28

Welcome back to the show! Very grateful for all of the support from listeners this week.

Today, I dive into a concept from the movie/tv realm: Show Don't Tell. I use the Disney Star Wars franchise (and a Moon Knight reference) to explore the need to show the audience more than just telling them. It is far more enjoyable and impactful to show the audience. This leads to character growth that is observable. There are real stakes as the audience sees a character win, lose, face giants, love, laugh, endure, etc.

When you apply this concept to you life, I believe in my heart we are all called to share our faith with others. The best way to share with your audience (those around you) is to show, not just tell. Showing the love of Jesus Christ to others is far more important that shouting others about their sinful ways.
