NEVER STOP GROWING

2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!

I have to say, that I was extremely challenged by Peter’s words from this morning scripture, because I still struggle in my growth in the Lord. I feel like there are times I plateau or stagnate, and like Sheridan Voysey’s example of the sea squirt, the last thing I want to do is be as he stated so well, “Spineless, thoughtless, flowing passively with the current.” I want to be vibrant and alive for my savior, so I need His help to keep my focus on him, through reading His Word, studying it, and putting it into action in my life. I think that's why these questions from this morning's devotional are so especially challenging to me, and I'd like to share with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and ask God to speak to you through them.

What character trait do you feel God calling you to grow in?

What I'd like to do right now my friends, is share some thoughts that God has given me through these vlog I did last year, on continually growing, and how not to become stagnant. I did this vlog over a year ago, and I pray that it’s used of the Lord to help and encourage you to not become stagnant or stealing your growth. Especially to not be like the sea squirt! Come join me in these vlogs, and learn the importance of never stop growing in Christ Jesus! 😊

So, as I close this post for tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it challenges you to continue your growth in Christ, and not let anything or anyone hinder it.

What service opportunity is He leading you to try?

Maybe right now God is speaking to your heart about an area in your life that He’s calling you to grow more in. Maybe He's calling you to a particular ministry that maybe you're not familiar with or comfortable with, but it's an opportunity to grow more in Him and help others. Maybe God’s calling you to take a stand in a particular area, social issue, or in something on the job, that is a way for you to be a witness for Him. Whatever it may be my friend, don't pass it up. Because it's an opportunity at any age, to not only grow more in Christ, glad to be a powerful witness for him! Don't be afraid to explore God's unending character, to be willing to take on new spiritual adventures and challenges. It's like Sheridan stated so well, “Study, serve, take risks. Grow.”

UNTIL SUNDAY MY FRIENDS:

HAVE A SWEET, BLESSED, AND SERENE EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
