Tony and Daphne Matthews - The Giant's House (A Musical)

The Giant’s House is an original work for recorders, choir and piano.

A group of children take shelter from a storm in a spooky house. Inside they find a magical room, guarded by a terrifying giant with a sad secret. The Giant's House can be used to promote discussion, as it can ask more questions than it answers.

Note: This is a final run-through performace in front of the rest of the school. Unfortunatly, no costumes were available at the time and the actual perfomance, the next day, wasn't recorded.

01:03 2. The Door - At a dark house, shall they go in?
02:20 3. Decision Time - They are soaked and need shelter.
03:08 4. Mice! - It's dark and there are mice ruinning around
04:10 5. The Storm Rages - and they creep around the house
04:53 6. The Toy Room - They find amazing toys which have no maker's name
07:45 7. The Giant! He knows they are there. He is not happy!!!
09:25 8. Fear!!! - The Giant is Huge!!!
10:13 9. A Terrible Fate - They are expecting the worst
11:07 10. Suddenly... - Nothing happens...
11:53 11. Against Instinct - They don't run, they ask...
12:35 12. Don't Weep for Me - The Giant replies with his story
16:17 13. Escape and Return - They tell the story to their folks, what a wonderful person he was.
