Commodity Spreads to Win | Petra Zacek

Petra Zacek describes the trading strategies she utilized to win the 2018 World Cup Trading Championship. Zacek focused on commodity futures spreads. She does not trade financials because she says those markets are more efficient and don't offer the same opportunities. Her spreads run from short-term (a couple of days) to very long-term (several months). She trades both inter-commodity spreads and intra-commodity spreads. She explains why she sees greater opportunities in the energy, grain, meats, and metal markets than in the S&P and fixed income markets. She also discusses the margin benefits of spreading as well as seasonal trades.
