Join me for another segment of my budget project of building a bridge over our farm pond channel. In today's episode I will be lifting the 1700 lb stack of 4 bridge timbers with the Bobcat e42 Mini Excavator, and setting it aside so that I can improve the foundation base beneath it. Then I'll grab the Bobcat T650 CTL/Track loader/MTL and bring in some 3 inch clean gravel to start working on the new base foundation which will consist of the gravel, tamped down and then I'll be using concrete bags to form an elevated concrete foundation to support this bridge timber stack. Then after that, I will build either one or two dead man supports back inside on the pond dam to hold this section in place.
