Some news and upcoming events to talk about today:

First is Mischa Martin with the Arkansas Division of Children & Family Services about the new support payment approved for provisional foster parents (relatives and/or well-known, familiar "neighborhood" figures who have volunteered to help children in their hour of need).

Then, we're talking in the studio about next week's Constitution Camp for kids with Rene Roges of the Saline County GOP Women, the program sponsor. Structured as a week of half-day sessions, kids learn about the philosophical ideologies that shaped America’s founding documents, beginning each day with a skit introducing concepts such as natural rights, the social contract, individualism, federalism, separation of powers, and checks and balances.
