Hot start to the weekend, but cooler days ahead

Hot weather gripped Colorado again Friday with highs in the upper 90s to low 100s for lower elevations and in the upper 70s to mid 80s in the mountains. Saturday will be nearly as hot, but a change in the weather is coming.
