Kathy Lien and Boris Schlossberg discuss the recent spike in volatility in the foreign exchange sector. Lien points out that ranges leads to trends and trends leads to trades. It is important not to fight a trend, particularly in periods of market disruptions. Global macro disruption can lead to huge moves so it is important not to try and pick tops and bottoms. Both agree that traders should rise the trend and not try and pick reversals. Major geopolitical led moves can go much further than you expect and even much further than appropriation.
