In this wonderful story, three friends explore the wonders of flight to try and access the skies by airplane, rocket, helicopter, and finally by hot air balloon. They end up drifting off over the Atlantic ocean to the United Kingdom where they get to meet the Queen of England herself and be knighted. They borrow some tea to take home to their friend and launch themselves back across the ocean to their humble beginnings where they enjoy a happy reunion.

This is a wonderful story about invention and modification of ideas in aviation. It's a great story for helping kids develop an interest in STEM fields and I've even included some simple history with references to the Wright Brothers' first flight at Kittyhawk. This is a story of friendship, innovation and exploration, and making new friends. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Once again I'd like to say that reading and vocabulary are essential tools to your child's future. Written and spoken words are tools by which we perceive, think, ponder, share, and communicate. Reading to your kids exposes them to words our everyday conversation eliminates. The richness of our speech is on a constant decline as we value simplicity and brevity over the richness available in the English language. Reading stories broadens your child's exposure to the world. It builds an understanding of who they are and who they can someday become as they're given examples of different character traits and choose which ones they admire and which they do not. It builds the richness of your child's imagination. It gives them settings and situations to use in their play. Reading to your children helps them grow up. Most importantly it teaches your children how much you love them by the time you spend with them sharing these experiences. Opening the world of a single story to your child is one of the greatest gifts you can give. I know many families don't have a tradition of reading bedtime stories or reading in the car on road trips. I feel fortunate that I was raised by a Mom and a Dad who had favorite stories and would spend time with us reading. I think I was 6 years old when Dad began reading the Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe to us. Once we finished that, he moved on to Prince Caspian and then the next and the next until we finished all seven books from The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S, Lewis. These were special memories he built with us. My Mom would read to us great stories like Farm Boy, and The Sign of the Beaver. These books broadened our imaginations as small boys. We admired the characters from the stories as well as the rich historical context they brought into our everyday playing.

Please spend time reading with your children. Share and create memories. It's important. I love storytelling. I believe it has great power in our lives. The kinds of stories we hear and the kind we tell are fundamental elements of our character. I share these readings on my channel so that maybe I can help build more interest in storytime for your children, but please don't neglect the importance of your role. You as a parent are the most important reader to your child. Please just try to find time to read to your kids. If you can't read for any reason, please at least spend time with them looking at the wonderful illustrations with them. Share time with your children. They need you. The rest of the world depends on you loving these young people. Having strong ties to home is fundamental to our society. It will bless their future in ways you cannot see right now.
