GAMERA VS ZIGRA 1971 (aka GAMERA VS THE SEA MONSTER) – An alien spacecraft destroys a moon-base then arrive on Earth to take over the planet, but they must first destroy Gamera with a giant swordfish mutation that can send out a deadly raybeam.

Okay, this is the seventh film in the original “Showa” Gamera series by Daiei Studios, which went into reorganization bankruptcy right after this one. There was an 8th one in 1980, but it’s just a compilation feature made of the first seven, so we won’t be showing it here. However, watch for our presentation of the four really great Gamera films of the Heisei Era coming soon.
