"PLEASE HELP ME," pleaded a woman, trapped in her burning car. "I don't want to die." "It's okay, sweetheart. I got you," responded a North Charleston, SC, police officer as he skillfully pulled her from the carnage after extinguishing the blaze. The heroic actions were captured in footage released by the Mount Pleasant Police Department on July 20.
