Word 1
JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 11:1-6
• Matt 11:1 When Jesus had made an end of commanding, that is, of giving instruction to his twelve disciples, and thereby of preparing them for the service they were now to undertake, he departed to teach and preach in their cities — The other cities of Israel, He was not wearied, but constant in His great work. This is our calling as Believers.

Word 2
JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 11:1-6
• Matt 11:2-3 John had been put in prison by Herod. Herod had married his own sister-in-law, and John publicly rebuked Herod's flagrant sin. Herod retaliated by imprisoning John. John probably wasn't worried initially. He probably thought, That's okay. Messiah's on the scene. He'll spring me out of here in no time. Don't the prophecies declare He shall open prison doors and set the captive free? I won't be in here long! No problem! But there he sat, week after week after month in that dingy, damp dungeon. And he sent word to Jesus: "What's going on? You're Messiah, aren't You? That's what I was preaching. I even saw the dove of the Spirit descend upon You. Why, then, haven't You established Your kingdom? Why am I still in prison?" Do you ever feel like that? Do you ever ask, "Lord, why am I still imprisoned? Why haven't You set me free? Why haven't You worked it out, Lord?

Word 3
JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 11:1-6
• Matt. 11:4-6 As John sat in prison, he began to have some doubts about whether Jesus really was the Messiah. If John's purpose was to prepare people for the coming Messiah (Mat_3:3), and if Jesus really was that Messiah, then why was John in prison when he could have been preaching to the crowds, preparing their hearts? Jesus answered John's doubts by pointing to the acts of healing the blind, lame, and deaf, curing the lepers, raising the dead, and preaching the Good News to the poor. With so much evidence, Jesus' identity was obvious. If you sometimes doubt your salvation, the forgiveness of your sins, or God's work in your life, look at the evidence in Scripture and the changes in your life. When you doubt, don't turn away from Christ; turn to him.

Personal Supplication
Father in the name of Jesus, help me not to position my self in a place where your grace cannot reach me. Help me focus on my assignment. Rom 6:1-2
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Daily Protection Covenant Declaration
Because I dwell in the secret place of the most High, I shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover me with his feathers, and under his wings shall I trust: his truth shall be my shield and buckler.
I shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand; but it shall not come nigh me.
Only with my eyes shall I behold and see the wicked rewarded.

Because I have made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, my habitation;
There shall no evil befall me neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling.
For God shall give his angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways.
They shall bear me up in their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone.
I shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt I trample under feet.
Because I have set my love upon God, therefore will He deliver me: He will set me on high, because I have known His name.
I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me.

JESUS IS LORD!
