What is the passage saying?
-What does this mean for me?
1.) v.47 Anyone who believes has eternal life
-I should treat everyone as a future brother or sister in Christ
-I should never believe a person is too far gone
2.) v.48-50 Those who believe in Jesus will never die unlike Moses' followers
-I should seek eternal life in faith in Jesus not in works of Law
3.) v.51 The power is in Jesus' sacrifice on the cross
-I should never wander far from the cross and the empty tomb - Central to everything
4.) v.52-59 We must humble ourselves to accept Jesus' words
-I should not strive to make Jesus' teaching softer or easier
