#GVOS2020 - Epidendrum stamfordianum

This gorgeous species arrived to me in terrible shape! The leaves were so blotchy from a bacterial infection, I thought there was no way it would pull through. That is why I am showing the foliage, because it is a testament to this orchid! The new growth it developed last season, was struggling with a bacterial infection from the get go, right in the crown... but here we are, a year later, and it has the cutest bloom spike! I say cute, because this species can get large pendulous spikes with up to 50+ blooms, so yes, this is the cutest and the most welcome of spikes! I have high hopes for this orchid, now that we have the next growing season commencing, the future growth should be alright, as long as I treat it right! I have it in 100% leca and a self-watering set up. It adapted to leca like a fish to water. Never had a transition issue! Hence, I consider this an easy grower :)
