Horizontal/Vertical Bandsaw - Blade Guide Alignment

Sorting out an issue with the blade guide on the band saw.

I've had the blade guide apart a few times over the last 15+ years to replace guide bearings and other repairs. I had assumed that the two bearing posts on each guide were identical, but they're not. One of them is eccentric to allow for adjusting for different thickness blades. The other one is concentric and as it turns out, that one needs to be on the inside of the guide.

The two fixed guides keep the blade aligned to the bed as you adjust the blade width with the 2 adjustable guides. Also, the inside guides have a lot more force on them due to the blade twist. This constant force can cause an adjustable guide to twist and open up the blade gap if it's on the inside as I had it.
