A clip where Joe Biden said getting the Covid-19 vaccine will stop you from contracting the virus has resurfaced after the US President tested positive for coronavirus.

During a CNN Town Hall in July last year, Biden said: "You’re not going to get Covid if you have these vaccinations.

He also said: "If you’re vaccinated, you’re not going to be hospitalised, you’re not going to be in the ICU unit, and you’re not going to die."
