Word 1
JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 10:32-42
• Matt 10:32-33 Anyone who acknowledges Jesus Christ (that is, publicly confesses faith in or declares allegiance to him) will be acknowledged by Christ before his Father in heaven. Jesus' followers would face earthly courts of law where they would have to publicly claim to belong to Jesus Christ, usually at their peril (Mat_10:17-25). Genuine discipleship always involves acknowledging Jesus Christ, whether or not we face pressure and persecution. Similarly, anyone who denies Jesus will be denied publicly denied by Him.

Word 2
JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 10:32-42
• Matt 10:34-39 Jesus did not come to bring the kind of peace that glosses over deep differences just for the sake of superficial harmony. Conflict and disagreement will arise between those who choose to follow Christ and those who don't. Christian commitment may separate friends and loved ones. In saying this, Jesus was not encouraging disobedience to parents or conflict at home. Rather, he was showing that his presence demands a decision. Because some will follow Christ and some won't, conflict will inevitably arise. As we take up our cross and follow him, our different values, morals, and goals will set us apart from others. Don't neglect your family, but remember that your commitment to God is even more important. God should be your first priority.

Word 3
JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 10:32-42
• Matt. 10:40-42 In Heb_6:10, we are told that the Lord is not unfaithful to forget our works of righteousness. When you do something for someone else, they might forget about it. But when you do something in the Name of the Lord for the people of the Lord, He promises He will not forget, and you will be rewarded. When? Perhaps now—but even better, in heaven. Let's go for it! Take the words of Matthew 10 to heart. Die to self. Live for Jesus.

Personal Supplication
Father in the name of Jesus, I receive the grace to publicly and openly declare You as my God, Jesus as my Lord and the Holy Ghost as my Comforter.
Matt. 10:32
32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

Daily Protection Covenant Declaration
Because I dwell in the secret place of the most High, I shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover me with his feathers, and under his wings shall I trust: his truth shall be my shield and buckler.
I shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand; but it shall not come nigh me.
Only with my eyes shall I behold and see the wicked rewarded.

Because I have made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, my habitation;
There shall no evil befall me neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling.
For God shall give his angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways.
They shall bear me up in their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone.
I shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt I trample under feet.
Because I have set my love upon God, therefore will He deliver me: He will set me on high, because I have known His name.
I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me.

JESUS IS LORD!
