Rants By Scot brings you a new episode, Rant #2 - Thin Lizzy Jailbreak!

In this episode I give some history on the classic rock band Thin Lizzy and some facts and stories surrounding their most successful and ONLY gold album, Jailbreak! I tell a little about the early days of Thin Lizzy, how they came to develop their classic and unmistakable sound, show and discuss the album artwork.

Then I give a track by track breakdown of the songs on the Jailbreak album. I invite you to take a ride along with Phil Lynott, Brian Robertson, Scott Gorham and Brian Downey as I give a brief description of each song on the album with an actual clip of each song playing.

I've dug into a bit of research to bring you some very interesting and perhaps little known facts and stories in this video, some of which even surprised me! I'm very happy to share with y'all these anecdotes regarding one of my favorite classic rock bands of all time during their most well-known and productive phase. I may follow up with a further and more in-depth history of Thin Lizzy in the future including more of their music, previous and subsequent albums, but for now, I hope you'll enjoy this video on Jailbreak!
