Welcome to the world of power animals. I started this website so everyone in the world can learn about their power animal. Each of us has at least one power animal that shares a deep bond of friendship with us. Spirit animals are an amazing source of support and wisdom. Today we’ll look at the kiwi.

The kiwi is the national symbol of New Zealand where their image appears on the country’s money, postage stamps, and road signs. They cannot fly, and have short legs, hairlike feathers, and long beaks. The kiwi is a shy yet territorial, usually living near forested regions. They come out at night to look for food and sleep during the day. Kiwis have a highly developed sense of smell using their nostrils at the end of their beaks to locate insects and worms underground. They mate for life and can adapt to almost any environment. After the female lays her egg, her mate watches over it until the baby bird hatches.

Kiwis have an affectionate personality yet they’re courageous and can scratch out if something is false. Kiwis are small yet give birth to large ideas. Since they’re flightless birds, they representative many of the world’s oxymorons or paradoxes.

Kiwis are symbols for affection, loyalty, and earth wisdom. Call on their spirit when you want to make a commitment in a relationship. Visit our website to find your power animal and learn about the virtues of other animals.
