[1:10] Jasmie, a ballerina and Yoyo state champion, breaks her leg on purpose and people see her as a great actor, so she commits to it by breaking her other leg. After a fight with her mother, she goes off to join the circus by becoming an act where she breaks her own bones on stage. Unfortunately, this is not a sustainable career choice.

[32:35] David King, a line worker at a pretzel factory, is hard at work when suddenly there is a fire at the factory. Being a disabled Vietnam veteran, David is unable to escape, but luckily is saved by a fireman named Butcher. When he tells his mother about Butcher saving his life, his mother kicks David out of the house.
