Cigar Box Guitar recording - 1988 Fostex cassette tape deck from ebay

Fostex 4 track tape deck I got from ebay - I used the preamps and drove my cigar box guitar to about 7 and then I raised the EQ highs to full tilt. It recorded clean with only a little bit of hiss, but I didn't want to roll off too much of the highs, The equalizers on Fostex machines work great you can run it thru auxiliary track and jack up the high end frequencies to get some glassy chime. I use to record with them when I was younger. I am a Fostex Fan for sure!
