Most people, considering the vastness of space, reasonably assume that intelligent life has to exist somewhere else in the universe, at least as intelligent as exists amongst humans on earth, of whom even Dr. Rochelle Walensky conceded, human choices have not served them well against a virus that isn't stupid. It's like a science, and if you want to waste the rest of man's existence doing what you want that is your body and your choice.
