Is It Ok for Christians to Drink Alcohol?

Some agree that the Bible condemns drunkenness, but many others teach that drinking in moderation is not a sin.
Apostle Peter, by the Inspiration of Holy Spirit, in 1 Peter 2:9-10, defines a Christian, as he declared, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.”
The relationship of Christians and alcohol is one of those perennial issues. It has often been the source of heated disagreement and even separation.
