Chief Petrus Vaalbooi, 78, traditional leader of the Biesmans and successor of the late legendary Dawid Kruiper at a press conference at the Biscuit Mall regarding claims that he is against the River Club development. Vaalbooi laid a criminal charge against Tauriq Jenkins whom he accuses of lying under oath in an affidavit that he (Vaalbooi) was opposed to the development in Observatory, Cape Town.
