For today's story, we discuss an unlicenced California Nutritionist ( Heather Kokesch Del Castillo ) who moved to Florida for business where she was blocked and Fined by the Florida Department of Health for providing dietary advice. She claims that Florida’s Dietetics and Nutrition Practice
Act, which requires a license to practice as a dietician or nutritionist, violates her First Amendment free speech rights to communicate her opinions and advice on diet and nutrition to her clients and she was also asking for a full federal appeals court to take up a challenge to a state dietitian law.
