Police Officer Discusses St. Louis Couple Mark & Patricia McCloskey felony charges - will they stick

The St. Louis couple who pointed firearms at protestors that broke into their private community and threatened them are now facing felony charges for improper use of firearms. But what about the protestors who were trespassing? Will they be charged?

Will the charges against Mark and Patricia McCloskey stick? Could this case be monumental for the 2nd Amendment? As a former full time police officer of 13 years, my initial feeling is that these charges will not stick. That said, I do feel the manner in which the couple handled their firearms was NOT safe and potentially put people at risk (if their weapons were actually loaded).

I also discuss two things many are not speaking about... the fact that the protestors were actually heading to the home of the Mayor and the fact that Missouri has what is called The Castle Doctrine in place.
