5 Most Popular Strains of Cannabis

We thought this would be an interesting topic to cover for one main reason.

For us, it is easy to compile a list of the most popular strains of cannabis as we sell their seeds.

It isn’t a perfect science though as tastes and preferences change, so this is a constantly evolving list.
What will be fun to discover is how our list compares with your favourite strains and whether you agree with us – please leave your thoughts in the comments section below this video as we do value your opinion.

If you search on the internet for the most popular strains of cannabis, you’ll struggle to find a definitive answer.

This is mainly due to the fact that as a worldwide commodity, different countries, or even regions, have their own favourites.

It can also depend on the legality and freedom to grow, and experiment with numerous strains.
So, now we’ve mentioned legality, which means that for some of you it would be illegal to grow cannabis plants, we are safe to move forward.

At number five, we have Wedding Cake.

From the feedback we’ve had – Wedding Cake was an obvious one for the list.

Why?

The pretty instant but well-balanced high that comes from the Cherry Pie and the famous Girl Scout Cookies cross strain.

No, cross… strain…, not angry locomotive.

Sour diesel makes it into our top five thanks to its ease of cultivation, fantastically pungent aroma, and ability to relieve stress, pain and depression.

At number three we have GSC, which is short for Girl Scout Cookies, the OG Kush and Durban Poison hybrid cross.

We’ve been told by many, well more than two of you, that were it legal and you could have smoked it, there is every chance you would understand why it has won so many awards.

Only just missing out on the top spot, Blue Dream has been one of our best sellers. The sativa-dominant Blueberry and Haze cross strain, apparently, which creates the sensation of calm euphoria.

And in the top spot we have Gelato, also affectionately known as Larry Bird, so named as the strain was originally labelled Gelato phenotype number 33, the shirt number of the legendary Boston Celtics basketball player, though not because he smoked the stuff!

This has to be at number one for its heavy hit and powerful inducement of euphoria and sense of being uplifted – a pretty good combination all told.

So, time to find out if you agree or disagree with our list – we’ll be checking out the comments below on a daily basis to see…
