THE PRECIOUS TREASURE THAT IS GOD’S WORD

3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA GANG!!!

Over the last few days, God has been challenging me through His Precious Word, and today was no different. I was especially challenged with the character of young Josiah, how at an early age he chose to seek God and follow God in everything he said and did. I was especially humbled by how penitent and humble this young king was, when he first hears the words of the book of the law of God, and his determination to set things right within Judah spiritually and in every way possible. I was especially challenged by the questions from this morning's devotional, and I'd like to share them with you tonight. I want to share them with you, because I think they're very important especially with what's going on, and I pray that as you read them God will speak to your heart through them.

What has God recently revealed to you as you've studied the scriptures?

Why is it vital for you to regularly spend time in them?

What I'd like to do right now, is share this particular vlog did last year, on the precious value and worth of God’s Word, and how we're not to take it for granted. I think it's something important for us to watch and hear again, because We need to be reminded of just how important God’s Word is, and that it is the most precious find we could ever have. So, as I close this post for tonight, I pray that you see that every letter, word, sentence, phrase, verse, chapter you name it of God's word is important. I pray that you take the time to examine every part of scripture, to even read the seemingly boring, unimportant, and yes even hard to understand parts of scripture, and ask God to make it come alive to you. Seek his wisdom for areas that you just don't understand, for areas that don't fit into your window of what the Bible's narrative should be and allow God to speak to you through this. Remember the important fact, that God's Word, is all inspired by Him, that no matter what translation it comes in, it is God's Word, God breathed and useful, important, and vital to our lives, and that when we ask the Holy Spirit, to help us better understand how even the seemingly unimportant, boring parts of scripture fit into all of God's Word, that He will make His Word come alive to us, and give us the understanding and wisdom that we are truly seeking. After all, it’s HIS blueprint for us to follow!! 😊
