Plants vs Zombies 2 - Penny's Pursuit - Zomboss - Torchwood / Pea Vine / Three-peater - July 2022

This Zomboss quest focuses on the Core plant Torchwood / Pea Vine / Three-peater and was offered between July 20, 2022 and August 10, 2022.

Torchwood is a member of the Appease-Mint family.
Costs 175 Sun - (150 at level 2 and 125 at level 4)
When a zombie touches Torchwood, it is dealt 10 damage. (15 at level 2, 10x the level thereafter)
When Torchwood is defeated, it deals 450 damage to all zombies in lane (+50 per level)
Has a warming effect which defrosts any cold-based effects.
When peas go through Torchwood, the peas get ignited and do 2x damage. (3x when given plant food)

Commentary:
Any solid Appease-Mint based strategy needs Torchwood. The multiplier effect is just too much to ignore. If Pea Vine is available, the multiplier effect is even greater.

Bottom Line:
Efficiency experts are going to want to know - wouldn't it better to save the seed slot and simply plant another peashooter instead? Short answer, not really. If two (2) peashooters utilize Torchwood, the damage will be greater than three (3) peashooters. (10*2 + 10*2) = 40 vs 3*10 = 30 to use a simplistic example.

You already have Torchwood. Level it up while it is easy to do so.
