Leadership in crisis management is definitely tough. No matter how perfect you are as a professional or how great your company’s contingency plan is, no manual can teach you leadership in times of a Crisis.

In a time of crisis, all of your team members expect their leader to guide and support them through these difficult times. When leading through a crisis, most leaders are forced to think and behave in ways that feel unfamiliar.

As a leader, you need to make sure that you keep the morale up so that the confidence levels of the troops will rise, and they will be able to tackle any difficulty that comes forth.

In this episode, I interviewed Mark Davis. Mark is a Director of Abundance International. His organization runs multiple orphanages in Ukraine. Recently, he has been on all major media channels such as CNN, Fox, CNBC, MSNBC etc. Mark is also an author of “How to Lead in Crisis”

We had a discussion on various challenges around Orphanage. Mark provided details on ground level situation. He also shared insights on both operational and leadership challenges.
If you are a business leader, you can relate to some of the extreme leadership challenges he is dealing. Even though your challenges may not be the same level as Mark’s, but leadership traits, personality and mindset required to deal with challenges, are very similar.

Here’s some of the topics discussed in this video:
• Operational and Leadership challenges
• Supplies challenges and situation on ground
• Canada’s contribution and support for Ukraine
• Leadership lessons and ways to help orphanage
• .... many more...
