The Public Protector's office says it has denied a request by President Cyril Ramaphosa for another extension to allow him more time to respond on the 2020 robbery at his Phala Phala farm. The matter is in respect to four complaints lodged by different parties and individuals with the Public Protector against President Ramaphosa early in June. The president had until Monday the 18th of July to respond, but he has instead filed a quest for a further extension. The 18th of July was granted as an extension when Ramaphosa missed the first deadline of June 22. The PP's office says there is no just cause for another extension and the office will have to subpoena the president. Ulrich Roux from Ulrich Roux Associates joins us to unpack this story
