In 2015, Satoshi Omura and William Campbell received a Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, for Ivermectin.

The World Health Organization (WHO) includes Ivermectin on its list of essential medicines.

Ivermectin has been used to treat a variety of diseases in both humans and animals.

Ivermectin has been called a "wonder drug" for its positive global impact, safety profile, efficiacy, and versatility.

Its uses and applications continue to be discovered.
