'Such a faker': AOC mocked for 'pretending' to be handcuffed during pro-choice rally

Democrats Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are being ridiculed online after pretending to be handcuffed while being escorted away from the Supreme Court by police.

The pair were part of a number of people protesting outside the Supreme Court in the wake of its decision to overturn Roe v Wade.

After repeated warnings from police, Ms Ocasio-Cortez and Ms Omar were arrested along with 15 other members of Congress.

The pair were mocked after pretending to be in handcuffs, with some social media users accusing the pair of being “fake”.
