Dr. Francis Testifies For Subcommittee Hearing on The Reversal of Roe v. Wade

Dr. Christina Francis is a board-certified OB/GYN who testified for the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations of the Committee on Energy and Commerce hearing on “Roe Reversal: The Impacts of Taking Away the Constitutional Right to Abortion” on July 16, 2022, saying in part:

"Just because we call a child in the womb an embryo or a fetus doesn't mean they're not a human person; that's just a stage of development... That doesn't make that child anything other than a human person. We must continue to employ advanced medical technology to support preborn children and their mothers. There are many complications of pregnancy that Pre-Roe we would not have been able to treat, and now we are able to."
