The 12 You's of Christmas! Day Five

Today was all about the fact that as followers of Jesus--YOU have signs for confirmation. In Lk 2:12 we see the angel of the Lord saying to the shepherds, “this will be a sign to you” and describing how they would find Jesus. You see, beloved, God in His goodness provides signs for us to confirm we’re heading in the right direction, doing His will, cooperating in His plan. And these signs, these promises lead to us finding what God has promised. Our job is to ask, seek, knock, and the door will be opened to us. We can be comforted by the fact that in our seeking, the Lord will speak to us and show us the way because we are His sheep and can hear His voice.
