Because he's a corrupt guy and he does what they tell him period end of story because he listens to the donors from West Virginia that tell him to retract his own proposal, but any time the rest of his party tries to get him to move an inch in their direction he doesn't listen to them. And so you can see that it's one-sided and that's just the corruption and maybe it is you know- maybe he does have an ideology insofar as like I don't know what you would call like a corporate ideology or just a corrupt ideology or just you know- I don't think he thinks too much about how society should work as much as what benefits me in any given moment is what I'm going to pursue and then when he does say something about society it's usually like coded racism about why people shouldn't get the child tax credit because they'll spend it on drugs right?
