Is it too late for the shrivelled pseudobulbs to recover? The root length of catasetum roots is important so that upon watering the roots do not rot. What about Catasetum roots that are not growing into the pot, but remain aerial and without regular access to water? Will aerial roots on catasetum dry out or continue to grow?
