Lassen Volcanic National Park, Mineral California

Located in the Lassen National Forest, near Mineral CA. We base camped in the village at Highland Resort. We arrived in late July, early August and to our surprise Lassen and the surrounding peaks had considerable snow. Lassen’s beautiful landscape includes small mud and steam pits, flowers blooming throughout, frozen icy blue lakes and snow covered peaks. We spent several days exploring the park and had a great time. The weather was fantastic. We hope you enjoy the video. Thanks for watching.
