Artists refuse to leave crisis-stricken Lebanon

As Lebanese emigrate in the most significant exodus since the civil war, local singer Joy Fayad, dancer Amin Beitamouni and painter Paul Merhy have one thing in common: they do not want to leave their native Lebanon. They are using their art to help themselves and their audience cope with the harsh reality of life in a country afflicted by what the World Bank has described as one of the worst economic crises recorded.
