This video is a summary of the first 1834 match between Louis-Charles Mahé de La Bourdonnais and Alexander McDonnell. It is in the form of a read-through sections of Mr George Walker's book "Chess and Chess-Players", published in 1850.
During this chapter, Mr Walker mentions some written correspondence between himself and McDonnell related to the "King's Pawn One game". We have covered this correspondence in detail in this video:
