Hey there! We are making the perfect chore chart idea for kids with ADHD with age-appropriate tasks so we can set them up for success. Sometimes, ADHD makes even daily tasks a real struggle for both kids and parents. It is no different in our home. I often find myself redirecting my son or repeating instructions many, many times. Our old chore chart was causing frustration and heartache. Obviously, changes were needed. Bingo! A quick search about chore charts directed me to a blog post from mommymoment.ca. Since my son likes and is motivated by a checklist, I thought this chore chart idea was perfect! It's even color-coded. I can't believe I didn't think of it myself. This chore chart makes it easy for kids with ADHD to focus on one day/task at a time. They can take the cards with them and check them off the list. TaDa! For him: No more overstimulation/intimidation from an extensive list. For me: No more repeating instructions or redirection. Just like that, you have set them up for success! Give it a try and let me know what you think. Make it a great day!
