WINNIPEG WEST-ENDERS MUST-SEE MUSIC VID (Alfie the Chipmunk gets re-located to "THE DUMP"- NOT Garbage Hill !)

This video starring "Alfie the Chipmunk", "The Storm" and "The Unknown Chauffeur" documents the catch & release and relocation of one of the chipmunks that were holed up in a West End garage. Released into a nice tree on the grounds of "THE DUMP" A.K.A. Westview Park NOT Garbage Hill says West-End Dave and documentary producer, who grew up with "The Dump" as his backyard playground and whose family has lived there since 1955! There was The Dump, The Hydro and The Club, 3 favourite meeting spots for all the kids from the West End! "To me, The Dump always reminded me of a Sleeping Giant? True at one point The Dump was a garbage landfill but was closed and made into a hill before 1955. There was no road up there but at some point, they turned it into a park and officially renamed it, Westview Park. This video is set to some good tunes to help enjoy the view of the City of Winnipeg, home of the Guess Who, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Monty Hall, Golden-Boy Donny Lalande, The Crash Test Dummies, Tom Jackson and even that Neil Young guy spent much of his formative years here, plus many others!
