There is a growing concern in the West over the billions of taxpayers’ dollars in military aid sent to Ukraine - how exactly are they being used, tracked and accounted for.
Here’s some examples of what ordinary citizens of the NATO countries are actually funding:
1️⃣ Profits for the Western military contractors that benefit greatly from armed conflicts.
2️⃣ Trophies for the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.
3️⃣ Modern weapons that are already being sold on the “black markets”.
4️⃣ Target practice for Russian high-precision long-range missiles and artillery.
5️⃣ More pain and suffering for the Russian population of Ukraine. The most recent example - the Ukrainian army’s strike on Novaya Kakhovka (Kherson Oblast) that resulted in the death of 7 people and left 70+ injured. Not to mention the civilian infrastructure that was either damaged or destroyed.
