Do Christians need to keep the commandments of God?

Romans 6:16 says, Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

As Christ mentioned in John 14:15, “If you love Me, keep My commandments”. The saints are identified as those who keep the commandments of the Most High and the faith of His Son (Revelation 14:12).

Please refer to Exodus 20:1-17 for a list of the commandments that Christ, as the Word, gave to Moses. Keep the commandments of Christ for they represent the love of the Most High (1 John 5:3) and through faith in the Son of Man, you’ll inherit, as a gift, eternal life in His everlasting kingdom.
