Ammo and Gun supply and predictions

I don't have a crystal ball, but my track record on forecasting the general trends has been almost perfect. I didn't predict that 38/357 would be so tough this time, totally missed the boat there, but...

That said, this is what I'm seeing and where I think it's going for now.
Short version, a year or two from now we may look back at today (March 2022) as a good time to have been buying. Not as good as three years ago, but not bad. I hate to say it, but the forecast very short term is decent, but mid term is lousy. Long term I just don't know because there's too much up in the air for me to make any kind of call. As always, when in doubt my suggestion is to make a realistic plan for if it goes badly rather than hope it goes well. Think through possible scenarios, assign percentages to them and then prepare for the most likely first and assign resources as available. Preparing for zombieland but not being ready for next winter is silly. Being ready for next hunting season but totally ignoring your home defense needs until the next election is on top of us is also silly.

I don't get into the details, I needed to keep this short and minimize the editing involved since I basically started over this morning and needed to get this done by the time my coffee fully kicked in. I didn't lose my original version but the editing was going to take longer than just reshooting an abbreviated version.
